ROTEX Rotex District 5360 wants you! Are you interested in making a continued impact in the Rotary Youth Exchange Program? Have you completed your year abroad, and are wondering, "How can I stay involved?"? If so, Rotex is looking for you! Rotex is made up of Rotary Youth Exchange Alumni and is responsible for the planning and execution of key events for the inbound students living in our district including, Globalfest, Winterfest and Stampedefest! They also share and provide feedback to the District Exchange Committee as well as help in keeping the program alive through promotion and club presentations. If you're looking to gain or use some leadership skills, we even have Executive Positions available. Please contact Matthew for more information. Rotex are defined as groups of Youth Exchange Alumni who meet for fellowship or to support Youth Exchange programs through promotion and involvement in orientation. Rotex District 5360 is mainly based in Calgary, Alberta but is seeking involvment from Exchange Student Alumni district wide. Rotex is responsible for several important events for inbounds and this year is going to be organizing Winterfest in January of 2009, A large Rotex get together in February or March, StampedeFest in July and a Globalfest visit in August for all new inbound students. All alumni are encouraged and welcomed to participate in any way possible, whether it be attending meetings to plan for these fun events, giving a presenation to your local Rotary club to promote the program, or even just helping out one-time at Winterfest.
